Important Notice: Temporary Administration of Local 3641

Dear Members,

As you may have heard there has been changes within the local Leadership of CWA Local 3641.We feel it would be in our best interest to hear from your direct leadership within CWA. Pursuant to Article XIII of the CWA Constitution, Local 3641 has been put under Temporary Administration by the CWA National Executive Board.  The National Executive Board made the decision to place the Local into Temporary Administration after receiving a request to do so by members of the Local.  Those members made the request after co-workers and fellow members were discharged by American after a complaint by the Local President.  In addition, a recent investigation of internal charges filed by members of the Local revealed that certain procedures and protocols required by the CWA Constitution and Local Bylaws were not being adhered to by the Local officers. â€‹ CWA Staff Representative Jar'La Evans has been appointed as the Temporary Administrator by the Executive Board. We understand that this news may be concerning, and we want to assure you that our primary focus remains on supporting our members and ensuring the smooth operation of our local. At the moment, all Local Executive Board members have been relieved of their duties. However, all Stewards remain certified. We will be getting in touch with each steward shortly. In the coming weeks, we will be sending a letter to every member's address on file. Over the next few months, we will work on rebuilding your Local. To achieve this, we need members to provide me with your contact information (email, personal phone number, personal emails) to keep you all informed. Please send your information to cwalocal3641@gmail.com

During this time, please show respect to your Union Sisters and Brothers.

In Unity,

Jar'la Evans
